Greetings from Bari, Italy!

It feels as though I have already lived a month since I took off from SFO, but it has only been a week. There has been so much lived already; I can only wonder at all that will take place over the next 8 months.

As always when far from home, I enjoy writing updates. It is both a way to communicate with those in the states and a way to process my own experiences. Before I left, I was encouraged to begin a site…and once here a new friend shared with me about posting from Japan…and so, here I am.

For my family and friends (because you love me) and for myself (because I love writing) here we go…
